KW: Safety hire
Anyone else viewing the Kevin Wilson to OU Offensive analyst as a safety hire? (I honestly didn't know he wasn't with Tulsa any longer.) I really want Brent to work out. I wanted him to be HC before he left. It has just been a slugfest and has been difficult to watch tbf.
But if Brent can't win out, does Joe C pull in Kevin? He will have a year back in the system and with the kids, he is a proven coach (maybe less so recently), he is a proven recruiter. In that situation, I wouldn't hate the hire, but I really do get tired of the sentimental bullshit at Oklahoma. We are passed sentimental.
"It has to have ties to Oklahoma" the fuck it does. What modern tradition that people talk about has direct ties back to the school that uses it? You think Metallica are season ticket holders to VTech? You think House of Pain feels a connection to the FUCKING UNIVERSTY OF WISCONSIN?!?
I will admit, at least aint no love in Oklahoma is fucking topical. And isn't about murdering people across the globe for the wealthy elites interests.
No, at OU we have to play the shit no one cares about because it was bullshit when it was released and it has somehow aged far worse than those in the admin realize. We just spent a year honoring a fucking jinx the fanbase doesn't care about or like to placate donors that let said patriotic shit bag do the donating. Fuck them. They got their sacraficial season. It was a train wreck. If we have to put up with that bullshit another season, I am going to stop watching. I fucking hate it. Bring back the Shinsuke Nakamura music.
That shit was at least fun and not fucking ignorant cousin fucking music.
Fucking Kings of Leon would have probably found a way to perform any song live every game if they had been asked. They are great guys who haven't passed away and are still touring and making music. It's a simple play. IDFGI. Joe, whatever you are huffing, please find a new drug. This one smells like January 6th.
Lose the hillbilly secret-meetup-behind-the-bunk-house cock sucking music, Sooners.
